"Dry Gas" is gas with no associated liquids, i.e. NGL's or condensate. Normally about 1000 btu heating value or bit less with specific gravity less than 0.60
First question - Great question! I am sure that there is a market for Shelby County minerals but it would be nice to know how much acreage, is it productive already and where?
If it is only a small bit of acreage, posting an ad in the the local papers with a general description of the property (location, size, producing, etc) is probably best way to go. If larger bit of acreage (especially if it is productive), putting an ad in O&G Journal, contacting various local producers or even going to a third party to market the minerals (for a fee and reserve big price) at auction (e.g. Energy Net, O&G Clearinghouse, etc) are all good optionss.
