Second question first

"Dry Gas" is gas with no associated liquids, i.e. NGL's or condensate. Normally about 1000 btu heating value or bit less with specific gravity less than 0.60

First question - Great question! I am sure that there is a market for Shelby County minerals but it would be nice to know how much acreage, is it productive already and where?

If it is only a small bit of acreage, posting an ad in the the local papers with a general description of the property (location, size, producing, etc) is probably best way to go. If  larger bit of acreage (especially if it is productive), putting an ad in O&G Journal, contacting various local producers or even going to a third party to market the minerals (for a fee and reserve big price) at auction (e.g. Energy Net, O&G Clearinghouse, etc) are all good optionss.
